How to delete the Photostream icon from Windows Explorer

When installing iCloud you get this very annoying pushy Photostream (my language is dutch so it is called Fotostream) icon.

Here is how to delete this icon from Windows (8)

 

1. Open the Start menu by pushing the Windows Flag key and type: Regedit

2. Right click on Regedit and click on “Run as Administrator”

3. Click Ok when the User Account Control message appears
Navigate to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace\

5. Delete the key {F0D63F85-37EC-4097-B30D-61B4A8917118}

Tada, the Photostream icon disappears
